**Note: Keep updating your Kompozer version so that it doesn’t get buggy. I noticed that sometime, after saving a a html web page, it tends to duplicates codes, causing the frames to go haywire. If this happens, select all the code from Kompozer’s source page, and paste into a text pad. Then, save it as ‘yourpagename.html’

As we move towards a new era of internet marketing, it’s crucial for businesses to own a website online. Selecting Website creation services can be costly or done even for free. This depends on the functions that you have decided for your website.

Here are a few things you should prepare before selecting a website creation service:

1) Decide the functions of the site – Are you selling a brand with just a few items? Are you a retailer with hundreds of product SKUs or are you corporate companies seeking to create a corporate identify online? Once you have identified the purpose of your website, you will be able to research and set a realistic budget for it. If you are building affiliate/ adsense/ CPA sites, one way to really get your site up quickly is by spinning content with PLR to supplement some of the content on your website.

2) Decide on a budget – Is it just an information website to promote affiliate products, an ecommerce website with a shopping cart, or just a corporate site branding? The way that your website looks can determine how receptive your readers are or how to get a high conversion rate from visitors. Plan a budget based on the marketing strategy you will use for your product launch.

3) Clear presentation of task at hand - There are many different kinds of website layouts to choose from depending on the nature of your website. The easiest way to create a website fast is simply with HTML pages. If you are a beginner in internet marketing, it’s highly recommended that you learn how to manage a basic website by setting up a free blog site. My favorite is Blogger.com. It is easier for me to outsource a website creation service by then referring them to my free blog and request to revise the website design and features from there.

4) Communication – The ability to build a working relationship with your website creation team by providing them clear instructions is very important to minimize the risk of time and money wastage. What’s more, when you are not sure of what you are doing, the website creation team might get confused, lose focus and interest. Always be clear on what is to be done. Be sure to agree on the working hours and set fixed times weekly for progress updates. One way I work with my outsourced team is by using link sharing on Google Docs. This does not only help me manage all the documents I’ve shared with my website creation team, but also allow me to track my team’s updates.

5) Timeline – Setting a goal with no deadline is like not having any goal at all. The best way to gauge timing is by researching and asking questions in forums. For example, if most people are getting 3 niche sites done in 6 days, then that would be the time I would allocated for the project. Provided that this is in line with the level of expertise I have hired for, adhering to deadlines are crucial in measuring you time and money as an employer and your team’s capacity and value skill within the given budget.

So you’ve purchased a dozen articles with PLR. How do you make it unique so that you can sell it as your own unique original content? Here are 3 ways to use PLR to create unique articles quickly.

Firstly, select and purchase your choice of PLR. Go to plrstore.com or masterresellrights.com which both offer a large variety of the latest PLR articles of niche markets.

Option 1: You can choose to rewrite them yourself. Select a few articles which best describes the information you would like to capture. Take minutes or key contents from all these various articles and paste them into a blank document. Rewrite the words by synonyms, para-phrasing etc until it is at least 90% unique. The advantage of this is you’d be able to save a some funds if you can write the articles, then get someone to proof read them. However, if you have more funds than time, it would be best to pay a professional to do the job.

Option 2: Hire a writer. Elance is a good source to a large pool of excellent writers. To secure one, prepare a clear brief stating what you are looking for, what to expect and when you will receive the deliverable. At the same time, it is crucial to be crystal clear with the job requisition you will prepare for the writer. The outcome of your article fundamentally depends on the clear instructions you are able to provide or you might land up attracting bidders of substandard to your expected results. This applies to all the other freelance websites.

TIP: Really talented writer are usually swamped with jobs and have no need to bid. If you are looking for good quality, invite these writers for the job instead of relying solely on bidders. As much as you are the paying customers, these outstanding writers have earned a position to choose who they want to work with, so in this case, you need to pitch for them and not the other way around. As you improve your experience dealing with highly sought after writers, the quality of content you produce will get better and better.

Option 3: Article spinning software are basically used to spin PLR article. This is worth mentioning as a tool to rewrite, not write from scratch. This method is usually useful to spin original or PLR articles to be posted into article directories, blogs or in email newsletters. Having said that, even the best article spinners will fall short of having a real person to edit it with thorough coherence. Which means after spinning an article, you will definitely have to look through it to see if it makes sense.

TIP: This software is optional and not essential when creating unique articles. Though article spinning software will not make your articles unique, it can be used to re-harsh original articles to make them more unique. Meaning, if you are using Option 1 to create articles, you can apply Option 3 afterwards to further customize the uniqueness of the article or to create different versions of the same article, which can save a lot of time and money.

Once, you have your own unique content, you can freely use them in emails, blogs, ezine directories, joint ventures or ad swaps without restrictions to copyright. You will then have full control to distribute, sell, market where and when you like, and price it as you like. In the event you need to check the originality of your article (purchased PLR or those delivered by a hired writer), head over to Copyscape http://www.copyscape.com/ to check for plagiarism.

Here’s a real case study:

A website designer has been requested by a client to create a hair salon website. It will be done using xsitepro with a custom header graphic. There will be quite a few photos that will need editing, a couple of videos made, similar to commercials for the client’s salon as well. Using xsitepro, I’m not using a generic template for this website. You can, but for this I am building the header graphic and adding panels to create the website so that it is 100% unique to her and what she wants. Everything is being built using xsitepro, but nothing is generic as the templates are.

When it came to discussing the pricing, the web designer had no idea what the going rate is. Do most web builders charge per hour or by project/ fixed?

Once you have accessed the requirements and tasks, you should make a decision based on that. If the project only requires minor changes, then it would be easier to gauge the total number of hours and quote the client up front. The advantage of this kind of billing is that it allows the client and web designer to better gauge the price, clarified and agreed upon before the work starts.

Pricing by hour in most cases refers to building a website on a larger scale, that you forsee taking more than a few weeks to complete. This provides more ease to a client who will pay you weekly/ monthly after the delivery of each milestone, as oppose to being billed one lump sum, for example, at the end of 3 months time.

You can check out local prices of web designing services, plus you can try different ways to check out what you should charge:

Check out web hosting advertisements in newspapers and check out their rates.

Try online search for local web hosting FREELANCER or small company and get idea about what they charge per website and what they deliver.

Contact a few freelancers or small company in your area and POSE yourself as customer and ask their quote for the said work which you are going to deliver to your client.

In my opinion, pricing comes down to your skillset. The spot on, error free, sick design, bad ass sales verbiage, proper CSS, done right the first time rate is $100 an hour. From there you just adjust your rate down (if need be). Compare your work to others. Hopefully you send traffic to your own pages and know how they perform. You’ve got to try to get a balance between what you think your skills are worth in the marketplace and what you need to earn to make it worth your while. Once you’ve got an idea of your hourly rate you can start to work out (or make an educated guess) how long its going to take you.

We find that clients always want a fixed price quote rather than an open ended charge for time. Make sure you draw up some sort of project specification where you very clearly state what you’re going to do for the money and put time limits on modifications, etc. so you don’t end up being strung along for months tweaking every last bit. We usually give clients 14 days for final tweaks. If they can’t get their act together in that time (making sure you respond promptly) they start paying for mods.

I have been thru the dilemma and I can tell you from experience that information overload is very real for a newbie trying to learn Internet Marketing. There are too many directions that can mislead or break a person, eaving one frustrated, out of time and broke.

If you are building your first website, with no content and no experience in designing a web page, it is highly recommended that you start with a free website like wordpress and develop your skills set from there.

You can choose to host your WordPress blog on WordPress or on your own hosting server.
Some marketer prefer to host it on their own server just to have more control and accessibility when it comes to editing and updating your blog. Another reason is due to the constant changes of free website hosting regulations which might risk internet marketer losing their sites in case their sites were to be banned for any reason or no reason.

To host your blog with WordPress, all you have to do is open a free account at https://wordpress.com/signup/

Spend some time looking through and clicking at all the features on the left hand side dashboard. I have used WP and have actually built two sites with it and found that it was a fairly simple and fast process to get familiar with it.

To host your blog on your own hosting server, you will need at least a domain name and hosting.
Then login to your admin’s cPanel, and look for a link called “fantastico”. That should lead you to a page where you can install your wordpress script with one-click. For more instructions, visit hostgator’s support page for and search for the supporting video.

After installing WordPress, search for some good free theme (or pay for one, if you are willing to) and install it. You should also install the basic plugins (do a google search and you’ll find the ones that you need to install).

There are plenty of different ways to promote a website, both free and paid. But there is a definate need to have a CMS system to easily manage your website files so that you don’t get bogged down with too much technical stuff and can concentrate on creating your content.

Some internet marketers prefer using Joomla since it is scalable from a blogg site up to a huge enteprise site. Amongst other things, you can set modules to show up on specific pages too which will help with very targeted marketing campaigns. With that being said I think that the question would be “What would be the easiest route for someone that dosent know what CMS means, to take to accomplish his end goal?” I would recommend to go with wordpress unless they have the time for a major learning curve.

Once you have your blog set up, it’s time to fill it with rich and keyword optimized content. I recently found a great free browser toolbar that has some great information finding links built in at: SerotoninInspiration [dot] OurToolbar [dot] com. I use the Inspiration menu to find trends, similar sites and demographic info before I spend the time to write the content. They seem to be expanding the toobar every few days so there might be some other links that suite you better. You have to find the hungry fish before you bait your fishing rod appropriately. The content on your site needs to speak to specific people so you need to research who they are and what it is they are looking for THEN provide them with the relevant content. Think about what your visitors are going to do on your site. Will they read, interact, purchase etc. Then craft the user experience or user journey.

If you want to speed up the learning process and cut off the guess work, you can find a great deal of videos on website creation on Youtube or go to Resell Rights Weekly for a huge amount of tutorials, content and marketing advice to get your site started. If you are broke , just join for a month; if you where relly broke, just join for the trial and then cancel.

Finally, plan, get a vision of what you want to do , but you got to take the plunge some time…

If you are just learning to use WYSIWYG Editors, you might be experiencing some of the following problems when using any free website creator software.

Like when you design with wysiwig editors like coffee cup and kompozer; it looks correct on the editor, but when you upload the saved file, its all jumbled up on the web.

The cause of this is that these are sites that have style sheets. You will need to open your css style sheet using Notepad and make the changes from there, provided that you understand how to use the style sheets. Then consider getting a basic book, The CSS Anthology and learn basic CSS and HTML.

Another reason things might look jumbled up, is that most free WYSIWYG HTML Editors tends to strip out codes/insert code that does not conform to w3c standards for HTML or XML, causing the outcome of the format to be different from what it should look it. So it might not be the CSS but rendering of tables that could be causing you problems. Thats the problem with free A way around this is to use a professional editor like Dreamweaver that complies to proper coding standards. And then even that can give you problems. And Dreamweaver is expensive.

For a cheap and fast solution, try opening your current site in a free editor like HTMLKit or better still, Notepad and try to edit your codes in from there. HTMLKit allows you to create a site using HTML/CSS code and preview it as you will see it on your computer at the same time.

Or if you still want to create sites using WYSIWYG editors I would highly recommend www.artisteer.com. It can be used to create themes for wordpress and HTML based sites. I have used it many times myself and it works very well. No formatting problems.

If you are serious about designing as a profession it’s best to learn Dreamweaver. There are several extensions that add features such as support for PHP Adobe Stock Exchange. Though this is best if you have the intention of becoming a website designer or webmaster.

Of late, many online websire businesses have been up and coming using mini sales page sites or mini adsense sites. It’s fairly fast to create a minisite and, highly affordable to get one created. So what is the cheapest way to create a minisite for cheap? What is the cheapest place to have a minisite designed? Or is everyone paying $20/month for each of their 200 sites?

One option is to purchase for a domain with privacy then use a free blog like wordpress, blogger or squidoo. It doesn’t get any easier than that. Buy a name from godaddy, get hosting from Hostgator and then install a simple WordPress theme. Hostgator has tutorial videos to show you how to do EVERYTHING you need to accomplish this. Also, most hosting plans allow add-on domains, which means you can pay about $7 per month to host unlimited domains and websites.

With this in mind, you can literally run all your websites for under $20/ month:

1) Get a domain at Namecheap or GoDaddy (Do a google search to find their discount coupons)

2) Search for a reliable web host with chat support ($70 – $120/year with add-on domains)

3) Use a web host with cpanel and 1-click wordpress installation

Hostgator is the best for new or seasoned internet marketer and only host I would stick after my experience with bluehost, dreamhost, fatcow and the worst of the lot, arvixe. Which ever you decide to choose, I would caution you not to add to many more to the one account. Once your sites start building in size…more pages, more content..etc…then there is a good chance they will start to run slower. Most of the hosting companies say “unlimited” number of sites but that can be a little misleading.

If you are starting to really build a fair amount of sites, it’s a fairly common practice for those with several sites to split your sites up among different IP addresses. This is good for several reasons but a couple of the main concerns for avoiding hosting several blogs on the same IP are as follows:

1. If there is a problem with a host that causes down time then it doesnt affect all of your sites

2. If all of your sites are on one IP and you do something with one of them to “upset” Google and they “slap” you then there is a good chance all of your sites on that IP cold get punished at the same time. Doesnt mean it will happen but there is a decent chance of it.

There are several other reasons but these are typically the main concerns for hosting multiple blogs on 1 IP.

As a general rule of thumb its a good idea not to host more than 12-15 (some people say less, some more) WP blogs on one IP. As mentioned before your sites can grow to be somewhat large over time, add to that the resources that some plugins require and your sites performance can really slow down.

If you’ve some money to spend, Unbounce dot com is a good choice too. They host all your minisites and offer nicely designed minisite templates. Also, you can customize the templates with its WYSIWYG editing tools. Everything is drag-and-drop so you don’t have to touch the codings part.
You’ll need to buy a domain name elsewhere though.

Host Gator actually is one of the few hosting companies that will allow you to host multiple sites on different class C networks. Many have said it and I repeat for voting in favor of it. Yes, use Hostgator at $10 per month – in theory you can host unlimited number of domains. Yes, buy domain names from reliable resellers – personally I use GoDaddy. And yes, use WordPress – that’s free. If you want to remain really cheap go for a .info – is really cheap for the first year at $1.

Here are a few recommendations for web hosting solutions:

HostGator.com is good but a bit more expensive and you don’t get the dedicated IP and the free domain. But Hostgator has a complete library of how-to videos and a 24 hour phone and online chat support which are essential for beginners.

IXwebhosting also has started a new “Support” system that will certainly be copied by all the other hosting companies. I have 3 support people to email at any time I choose. This is in addition to the 24 hour telephone support etc. I’ve been with them for over 6 years and have no complaints at all. $3.95 per mo is their cheap plan, but I would recommend the next one up. Money back guarantee any time, the last time I checked.

FusionHost.com offers the cheapest hosting for unlimited domains. You also get a free dedicated IP for your hosting account which is great for SEO and a free domain with every account.

Recommendations for website creation software and free resources:

Free web creation software – A cheaper solution is to find free or cheap templates online and edit them yourself using a free HTML Editor like Kompozer, Nvu, HTMLKit or Coffee Cup Editor’s free 28 Days trial.

If you know how to use wordpress, then you should check out FlexxTheme and FlexSqueeze.

While PLR is a great way to kick start your business, it’s crucial to get yourself organised, like not wasting time to search, type and filling in login information.

The secret is to have a little software take care of all those things which truly takes away the frustrations and enhances the speed of working online by automatically saving, then entering your usernames and passwords. Simply click and login-similar to a browser bookmark! You’ll never need to remember or type another password again.

Here’s the instant download link:

http://www.roboform.com/dist/affs/AiRoboForm-e1331.exe

You can use the Free version for as long as you like. After 30 days you will prompt for payment, choose not to upgrade, and continue using it for free, or you can upgrade to the full version and save unlimited passwords.

While I have checked out a few other similar softwares, this is by far been one of the most useful softwares of value for money.

Here’s a video of how it works and saves time:
